What is the Typecast TTS API?
The Typecast TTS API is a TTS (Text-to-Speech) API that lets you plug 500+ distinctive AI voices directly into your service. You can deliver natural, expressive voices powered by the latest SSFM 3.0 model across websites, apps, games, podcasts, e-learning, and more.
Are the Typecast web service plans and API plans separate?
Yes, they are separate. The web service (Studio) plan and the API plan are subscribed to individually, and usage and billing are managed independently.
What happens if I exceed my limit?
While subscribed to a paid plan, you can keep using the API even after you exceed your monthly included credits. Additional usage is billed automatically in fixed units — 100,000 credits for the Lite plan and 1,250,000 credits for the Plus plan. You can check your current usage on the dashboard.
