Onboarding call

We will reach out to schedule an onboarding call to go over the project, compensation policies, tech specs, and answer any questions and concerns.

Step 03

You record

We provide you with a script to record high-quality voice recording files to build a model around your character.

Step 04

Go live

Your voice character will go live on the Typecast website for our creators to use.

Can I prevent my voice from being used in inappropriate content?
We have robust measures in place to protect your voice from misuse. Our usage policy strictly prohibits the use of voices in adult, inappropriate content, and fraud. We actively monitor to enforce these rules.
Is the contract with Typecast exclusive?
No, the contract with Typecast is not exclusive. You are free to work with other clients and take on projects outside of Typecast.
How does the compensation structure work?
Compensation is based on the usage of your characters. Royalties are calculated based on how often your characters are used by our users. Payments reflect the popularity and frequency of use, ensuring fair compensation for your contributions.
How many characters can I record and release on Typecast?
We can work together to record multiple characters that you can release on Typecast! Each character earns royalties and recording fees independently, allowing you to maximize your earnings and showcase your versatility.
What kind of equipment do I need to get started?
To ensure consistent, high-quality recordings, we require you to have access to a recording studio (at home or remotely) with a high-quality condenser microphone with a fabric pop filter, a quiet, acoustically treated space, recording audio software, a pre-amplifier, and access to Google Meets.
