How to record your screen

Open Control Center

Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.

💡 For Home button models, swipe up from the bottom. If the Screen Recording button (◉) is missing, add it in Settings → Control Center.

Start screen recording

Tap the Screen Recording button (◉). Recording starts after a 3-second countdown.

Play the video

While recording, play the video you want to analyze.

Stop recording

Tap the red status bar at the top and select 'Stop'. The recording is saved in the Photos app.

Upload the recorded file to the upload area above. The browser will automatically extract and analyze the audio.

Open Quick Settings

Swipe down twice from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings panel.

💡 If the 'Screen Record' tile is not visible, edit Quick Settings to add it.

Start screen recording

Tap the 'Screen Record' tile. Select 'Device audio' as the audio source and start.

💡 You must select 'Device audio' to capture the video's sound.

Play the video

While recording, play the video you want to analyze.

Stop recording

Tap the screen recording notification in the notification bar to stop. The file is saved in the Gallery app.

Upload the recorded file to the upload area above. The browser will automatically extract and analyze the audio.

Open Snipping Tool

Press Win + Shift + R to start screen recording with the Snipping Tool.

💡 Screen recording is supported in the Windows 11 Snipping Tool. For Windows 10, use Xbox Game Bar (Win + G).

Drag to select the recording area, then click the record button in the toolbar.

Play the video

While recording, play the video you want to analyze.

Stop recording

Click the stop button in the toolbar. The file is saved in Videos → Screen Recordings.

Open Chrome

macOS built-in recording does not capture audio, so open this site in Chrome.

💡 Tab audio capture is not supported in Safari. Use Chrome or Edge instead.

Click the 'Browser tab capture' tab at the top.

Play the video and start capture

Play the video you want to analyze in another tab, then click 'Start browser tab capture'.

Select the tab and share

In the dialog, select the Chrome tab where the video is playing and make sure to check 'Also share tab audio'.

Analyze after capture

Capture completes automatically after the set duration. Click 'Find the voice' to start analysis.
